The fans of this software certainly value feeling elite very highly and they would be very susceptible to a cult. The online multiplayer has terrible latency, I assume this was done on purpose to make the game more difficult for the bizarre fans of this "genre". Mega Man has released many sequels and will continue to be enjoyed long after Spelunky is forgotten.
